PICĂTURA CINEFILULUI - Psycho, 1960

Inspirat dintr-un roman de Robert Bloch, filmul redă cazul patologic al unui băiat care ucide travestit în mama sa moartă de multă vreme. Respectând o lege de fier a creaţiei sale, Hitchcock porneşte de la o aparenţă de normalitate sub care descoperă anormalul. “Cu Psycho am izbutit să-i dirijez pe spectatori ca şi cum aş fi cântat la orgă” (A. Hitchcock). “Construit ca “Infernul” lui Dante, în cercuri concentrice, din ce în ce mai strânse şi mai profunde, fiecare plan este o lecţie de regie prin precizia, rigoarea şi frumuseţea lui” (Ph. Demonsablon).
